Itha-Krumme Memorial Arboretum Next to Stanton Lake Park,
25th and Clifton Sts.

A showcase of Nebraska plants with over 30 varieties of trees, 20 varieties of shrubs, plants, and wildflower plantings.

Your visits will be more enjoyable since the
installment in the summer of 2007 of the new concrete pathway
throughout the site. The Arboretum is truly a community
endeavor. It is totally maintained and supported by volunteer
donations and labor. The Arboretum receives no tax support;
your financial donation is greatly appreciated and needed.
Donations may be made to the Arboretum Maintenance or Endowment
Fund, c/o The Richardson Foundation, Inc., P O Box 161, Falls City
NE 68355. This is an IRS Tax Free 501 (c) organization.

Missouri River Provides excellent fishing, boating, and water skiing. Boats may be launched at Rulo, nine miles east of Falls City.

Bell-Jenne House Corner of 20th and Harlan Street (Hwy. 73) This Italiante-style house was build in 1881 and features an unusual decorative hardwood floor in the sitting room, classic furniture, paintings by noted regional artist Alice Cleaver, and details of political interest; such as the coat and tails worn by Governor Arthur Weaver at his 1929 inauguration.

Richardson County Historical Museum

This beautiful facility has many displays of artifacts to
preserve the history of our county. The museum is open 2:00 -

Richardson County Military History Museum Richardson County Courthouse (1700 Stone Street / Hwy. 73) This museum has a large collection of exhibits and displays of war memorabilia, including photographs, uniforms, and equipment from WW I, WW II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Gulf War, and Company B, 134th Infantry, Nebraska Army National Guard. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This museum's creation was spearheaded by our
late mayor, Marshall Maddox, a Vietnam combat veteran.
